Clearing Reading from Inssider

The new clear button in Chanalyzer is great. Any chance of getting one put in Inssider, too?
I've trying to simulate this by Stopping and restarting the scan, but AP's that are no longer there still show up.
I tested this by scanning, stopping, turning off the AP, watching with Chanalyzer until I saw the AP drop signal, and then scanning again. The AP that was turned off still shows.
A one button clear would be better yet, but if this could be made to work, even with the extra steps, it would be helpful.
Thanks for the great program.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean, when you'd like it to clear.... Because if an access point drops out, the graph will show it in inssider... So if you give us a little more insight as to why you'd like it maybe we can see if we can add it.
I'd like to be able to wipe all data and take a new scan.
My particular reason is to locate at the point where I want to put an AP and scan for everything that can be seen there.
The data is accessable in the current version, but I want to specify that my people take a snapshot of the RF at that point at each AP site during the site survey.
The only way I can have them do it now is to close Inssider and restart.
Chanalyzer allows this.
My plan is to specify that the surveyor have both Chanalyzer and Inssider open, check at each potential AP location and take a snapshot reading, saved to disk for future reference.
I currently specify that my surveyors keep open Chanalyzzer running with the Wi-Spy 2.4, Inssider running with their internal Wi Fi card and Cisco's site survey software running with an Air -CB21 card.
I'll see if I can post a screen shot of this for you. It gives a full picture of the RF enviornment before the installation.
My company will be buying Wi-Spy 2.4's for all of our field personnel once this process begins. We have 3 now for experimenting with and find them to be a good alternative to our spectrum analyzers. We can gives these to all our people, instead of a select few that got the big spectrum analyzers.
Thanks for your consideration.
If all you want is for the APs to disappear when they are inactive you can set the [Delete Inactive] to 1, 5, 15...etc minutes. and when an access point is no longer seen for that period of time it will automatically drop off. This is found under the [Edit] - [Preferences] drop down menu.
